These are the next conventions and events I will be attending as a dealer with a selection of pre-made costumes and goods!

21 October; Anime Attacks

I usually recommend booking at least 2 months before a convention or event to make sure everything is completed in time! If you are unsure I am always happy to give estimates!

For costume time and price estimates please e-mail me!

Paper Cranes is a small (but growing!) Cosplay Commission service based in North-East England, offering costume commissions across the UK. At present Paper Cranes is a 1-person operation striving to provide customers with the best possible quality costume commissions at a great price without compromise!

I have personally been cosplaying since 2004 and making my own costumes since 2005, experimenting with different techniques and styles to achieve the most accurate and well-presented costumes possible. Over the years I have expanded my resources with new patterns, machines, techniques and specialities to ensure a high-quality finish on every costume I make.

I began making costumes for friends and family who were also into Cosplay before embarking upon a commission service, as well of course my own costumes. Upon receiving continued positive feedback, I thought it was high-time to start sewing for the Cosplay community!

While Paper Cranes is typically ran by myself, I always have the help and support of friends who help keep me going when times are busy and things need doing (and when I need a kickstart)!

Paper Cranes has been around since 2009, but only got out there in 2010 with an appearance in AmeCon 2010's Dealers Room selling pre-made costumes and offering a hands-on commission service.

All fabrics that are used in production of costumes are bought locally from small retailers and is guaranteed to be of the highest quality. Because all fabric is chosen in person, this ensures a close colour match as well as suitable fabrics for the costume that is commissioned, rather than blindly choosing fabrics based upon first impressions. I personally shop around to make sure your commission is as accurate as possible and the best value for money I can provide.

Ideally Paper Cranes will be attending most major UK conventions as well as selling privately online. While at conventions there will be a range of pre-made costumes, small accessories and supplies for sale on the day as well as a chance to commission custom work. There is a portfolio of examples at every convention to browse as well as physical examples of previously commissioned work on display. To see which conventions Paper Cranes will be attending that are coming up, please check the schedule!

Typically services offered include but are not limited to: costume commissions, original commissions, costume accessories and custom embroidery/patches. But just because something isn't listed doesn't mean I won't try it! I'm willing to consider any requests if you ask, if you're curious don't be shy to e-mail me.
